Bridgestone Makes "Boom Boom" With American Golf Icon
Bridgestone Golf Signs Fred Couples to a Multi-Year Deal
Covington, Ga. — Bridgestone Golf, Inc. officially announced today that it has added American golfing icon Fred Couples
to a Tour team that already includes international icons Nick Price and Stuart Appleby.
In 2005, Couples will play the Bridgestone TOUR B330 golf ball and the J33 Forged Combo irons in all professional tournaments.
Couples first put the TOUR B330 in play during the 2004 unofficial season events, winning the Skins Game over Tiger Woods
in a thrilling sudden death playoff and going 3-0 in the Warburg Cup at Kiawah Island.

the unofficial event season is any indication of what kind of year he will have on the PGA TOUR using Bridgestone equipment,

In addition to the equipment, Couples will be a Bridgestone endorser from head-to-toe emblazoned with a Bridgestone Golf
logo on his visor, shirt and staff bag in all 2005 professional events and appearances.
While the terms of the deal will remain undisclosed at this time, the company is pleased to report the contract is for a
