I have done extensive ball testing and if you are looking for a ball that spins around the greens like a tour ball. Then this is your ball!!! If doesn't have quite the spin of the Penta or Srixon XV but it does stop within 2 feet of the 2 balls I just mentioned. Excellent job Bridgestone!!!
I loved this ball! It made my drives 10 yards longer and gave me alot more control around the greens.

I decided give this ball a try since it was on sale for under $25, plus the fact it has urethane cover... this ball is durable and feels great to put with... however, this ball doesn't spin as much compare to ProV's or Callaway Tour i... I was surprised when I hit few drives over 320 with this ball... this ball travels far in the air !!! I will be sure to give this ball few more try =)

Best bang for your buck golf ball out there. I shoot in the low 70s and id say this ball has all the distance and spin youd get out of the pro v1 but lasts longer.
Just had my first fitting ever for a golf ball really did not feel it was that important.I was wrong,Went through the fitting process and the ball recomendation was the E-5.More control, with the driver, distance went up 20 yds.better feel around the greens.I will be using the E-5.Thanks to the fitting prosfrom Bridgesone Golf.

Excellent feel - High, but flat ball flight, with shallow decent for added roll at the end of a drive - Not bad spin around the greens - Not a Pro V1 but for the money I'll take the e5 any day without a second thought - As good of a buy/value that I have seen to date !
I played the E5 last Saturday and shot 78. Best round in many months. I am a 9 handicap, age 63. I have played all the balls and generally would play the Srixon Star. For a long time I have looked for a ball that was fundamentally simple with a urethane cover and somehow I finally connected to the E5. For me this is a perfect golf ball. It spins well, feels great and really flys. As I often play early when it is a bit cool, I was also pleased to see the ball was not limited by the cool morning air. It flew well off the first hole in 45 degrees and about the same 4 hours later in 65 degrees. Great ball. Good price. Durable. Perfect.

i bought a 3 sleeve of balls after hearing all the rave about the balls, to be honest i wasn't that expectant, but first drive came off the middle of the driver, 300 yards +! then i had a tricky chip shot and the feel was great, i tryed the other balls but i prefer the e6 cause of my slice drive

14 handicap that plays less and less due to having 4 young kids. My dad gave me a dozen e-5's as a gift - found I hit every club in the bag a little higher and kept the ball in play way more than my erratic game normally played out (index started trending DOWN again!). Tournament last week in Niagara Falls - 148 yr par 3 into the wind - knock down 8 iron with an e-5 that checked and rolled 1 ft backwards into the hole. I'm going to try the e-7 for a little more tee distance but when i'm playing a course where it needs to fly - I'm using the e-5!
