Mid-Handicappers can play these! I started golfing again about 3 yrs ago after a 6 year hiatus (city life and 2nd shift will do that to you). I had a used set of TM firesoles and was a 14 handi. So when I told my buddies i wanted something new, they all told me i needed to get a "game improvement" set. How can i improve my game if I can't shape my shots?! SO glad I didnt listen. Within the first 5 rounds I posted 81, 80 and a personal best 36 for 9! The game-imp sets i tried (x-22, burners) all felt good but made me feel kind of sloppy. The thin topline and soft feel of these clubs really keeps me focused on every shot and I love it! Plus I HAD to own these clubs. Between my first name and 36 being my number on every team i've every played on, how COULDN'T I haha!

I highly recommend these clubs! The ball flight is something special to behold. Extremly versatile in every situation. You can almost feel the ball sitting on the face that extra moment at impact and then explodes with penetrating ball flight. Thank you Bridgestone!

I just got these irons and am already shooting under par with them. These irons feel great. These will keep me as a scratch golfer.

I own the J36CB and love them. Before purchasing them I owned Taylormade OS2 (preowned) irons. I had to make comparisons between Mizuno, Titleist AP2, and Taylormade MB TP. The jump from extremely forgiving irons to a lower handicap irons made the decision difficult. With the project X shaft option along with the feel/look of the irons, the J36 was the best bet. I am beginning my third summer as a golfer so i had to roll the dice with the best choice for advancement, J36CB. If you are wondering what is a third year golfer doing with J36CB blades? Well they keep me in rhythm so i couldn't swing wildly. I had better feedback versus the other irons demo'd. Following a month I was able to hit pure shots with alot less effort. I questioned my purchase at first but the adjustment period was so fluid, i'll reccomend them to anyone willing and able............ they do feel like butter!!!!!!

Took the J36 6-iron demo out to hit a few during my round. Wow, I purchased the set one week later, best feeling player clubs I have ever played. Bridgestone, please make wedges to match the set. Just ordered 3-dozen 330 balls, hope they play as good as the irons. Dean 3.7 and dropping.

The J36 Cavity Back Irons are the only irons on the market that lowered my spin rates while the project x flighted shafts maintained optimal launch. Thanks Bridgestone!

I just purchased a custom set of J36 Cavity Backs and these are the best clubs that I ever have played. The craftsmanship, the feel of the irons, and the consistency are exceptional. I only wish I played Bridgestone's my whole life. Offering them with the project x flighted shaft as the stock shaft was a great move.

I played those club for so long an really had um locked in,but not like my j36 jus like butter feeling! iI hope the rep can get some more bridgestone accessories i. e the tour towel at rodger dunn, they jus got the hats in to. The rx is the best ball ever!

Had been playin mizunos for years, most recent set were blades. I decided I was going to switch back to cavity backs. I was at my course and the assistat pro is on the bridgestone staff and noticed me wearing a bridgeston visor. He asked if I played bridgestone clubs and I informed him i did not, just the ball. Well he had a set of the j36 CB's that he was selling and let me demo them. WOW! I didnt even take them to the range first, straight to the course and WOW! These had the best feel and weight, just perfect. Loved the project X 6 shafts in these babies too, beautiful combination. It was like finding my long lost child,I knew i was in love. After my round i stopped back in the pro shop and he asked how I liked them, I pulled out my checkbook and he said "I thought that might happen." These are the best irons I have ever played, look like blades, feel like blades, but have that little bit extra. Since then I got the j36 hybrid and j33 3-wood. Bridgestone has replaced mizuno and titleist in my bag 3-wood- PW. Driver will be next, just waiting to see if yall will be inroducing a j36 driver anytime soon. Thanks for making some of the greatest clubs in golf. Scott Sundem

Have played my J-36 cavity backs for about 6 months now & they are the softest, best looking blades I have owned.....and that includes 3 different sets of Mizuno's.......just wish they had some woods to do justice to these blades......2009?????
