I have about 200 words to describe these irons, however, I will sum it up with this...awesome!

An 11 handicap, I've been playing the J-36 combo set for one month now and love everything about them. I disagree with some who say these irons are only for single-digit handicappers; it would be more accurate to say they are for good ball strikers. The blade irons are a touch more difficult to hit but with practice they reward diligent players with improved accuracy. These are beautiful, highest quality irons. Be sure to order the pocket cavity 3-iron--I didn't, thinking the 4 would be hard enough, but it was actually easier to hit than the 6 cavity back. My partners are impressed with the piercing flight and accuracy of my iron play. You will be glad you purchased these.

I just got a great deal on the J36 combos so I had to take it. This season I played Mizuno MP-57 irons (with Project X 5.5 shafts) and liked them better than any thing I'd previously played, but felt the shafts weren't stiff enough... I saw the J36 for the first time only a month ago - and noticed that they had Project X 6.0 flighted shafts. The fact that they are forged from 1020 (vs 1025) steel, and look so beautiful at address - I had to buy some. I got them today - [4-5 pc, 6,7,8 cb, 9, pw blade] - and had time to play 9. It was super windy, but I managed to make 2 birdies, 3 bogies and 4 pars. I think next year I will get to scratch or better with these irons. They feel amazing, they look beautiful, they perform superbly. I'm onboard!

I bought the Bridgestone j36 combo set with the Project X 5.0 shafts a couple of weeks ago. I have played two rounds with them and broke 80 already. I am around a 12 handicap and have been playing almost 4 years. I usually hit Titleist irons but decided to give Bridgestone irons a try and am pleased with the results. I went with the combo set because I like to work the ball and the blended set gives me that freedom. My goal for this year was to break 80 and my 79 on Sunday with the Bridgestone j36 combos was just what I needed.. Thanks Bridgestone

Played 3 rounds now and accuracy improvement is very noticeable. Especially the short irons. i would say these are for single digit handicapers because of the lack of forgivness. Possibly the nicest looking irons I have seen. great job bridgestone!!

Wow! I got the 3-5 in pc, 6-7 in cb and 8,9,w in blades all ith the super light Nippon reg shaft. After playing the Callaway x-series for almost 15 years I was afraid I would loose distance and have a much lower trajectory. Neither worry happened. With my old Callaway irons I had a hard time hitting a fade or a low punch with a relatively lofted club. Not any More! I cannot imagine any iron being any better than these! Make sure you study the multiple shaft options and get fitted. Purely awesome!!!!!!

I bought the same irons as Jamie from London thinking if he's going for them then I will too,low and behold I still beat him round the course and I have got my handicap down to just 22. Thanks Bridgestone!

Was playing off 20 handicap. Handicap cut to 16 on second time out with these clubs. Pared the back 9.
