I purchased the J38 after testing it against multiple drivers at PGA Superstore. I have a high clubhead speed (112mph) but put a lot pf backspin on the ball (4500-5000RPM). This drags down my distance badly, particularly on mis-hits, and can turn my power fade into a bad slice. The J38 dropped ,my backspin numbers to 3400 RPM and was consistently 5-10 yards longer than TM R11, TM Superfast 2.0, Nike and Cleveland offerings. It also had the tightest shot dispersion.

Switched to the B-330 s ball and the J-38 dual pocket cavity irons PLUS the awesome looking Staff bag. The irons and forgiving and the feel is hreat plus the performance of the ball is much better than the Pro-V1..

Finally was able to play my new J38 driver after a long winter. Wow, perfect ball flight, great distance, even on a cold day and very accurate. Goes great with my J36 pc, B-330 ball and WC wedges.

I got one of these babies this past summer and just hammer it. I used to play a Callaway FTiz Tour and it is a poser compared to this one. I now average 236 off of the tee which is a 23 yard improvement and much straighter.

Just purchased the J38 Driver. What a weapon! That completes my set of all Bridgestone clubs (and Bridgestone e7 ball and cart bag) in my bag except the putter. Need to market these products more at retail. My partners want to know what I am hitting all the time and they didn't know Bridgestone made clubs and bags.

I have hit demo clubs and ordered the J38 driver because it hits long and straight with the stock F1 shaft. Stock shafts all come a little stiffer than expected! Great driver it will stay in my bag. Switching to J38 irons too!

I first saw this driver on T.V., Matt Kuchar was hitting it. Read the comments about it on this web page. Bought one, love it!!! Why is it that the major golf publications (Golf, Golf Digest) never review Bridgestone clubs? All of the clubs in my bag are Bridgestones(except putter) and I can attest that they are excellant products. Keep up the good work, Bridgestone!

Just bought a J38 driver 10.5 loft in regular flex and impressed I am. This driver smashes the ball and I love the crack of the bat sound it makes when killing the ball. Hit my first 300 yard drive with this baby.
