Been a blade player all my life (54), but decided to try a cavity back. Bought a set of J40's 6 months back, but just never got around to hitting them. Finally broke them out last week and cannot begin to describe how elated I am. They not only go further by a club length, but I can actually work the ball like a blade. Feedback isn't quite as great, but it's still there, and that "buttery" sweet spot of the blades seems like it just doubled in size. Hard to believe more golfers have not discovered these clubs.

I have been eyeing these J40 cavity back irons for a while now. I have been actively looking for negative feedback and have not been able to find any. Today I finally got my hands on some gently used sticks and the look and feel alone has sent my AP2s to the back burner. I cannot wait to play these clubs, even thinking of doing a full Bridgestone club overhaul!!! Just amazing quality all around. Great job Bridgestone!

20 year retirement gift -- just purchased 3-PW J40 Cavity Back Irons with Aerotech Steel Fiber i95 shafts! These clubs are by far the sweetest set up on the market. I've been playing the Bridgestone balls and wearing the gloves for years. Just this year started playing the J40 Cavity Back Irons with Project X graphite shafts -- the best irons I've ever hit. I am 63 years old playing to a 5 handicap. Oh you must hit the hybrids!!!!!!

A few years ago when all my golf buddies were telling me to get some "game improvement" clubs, I said forget that and picked up some J36 CB irons. I went from a +12 to about a +6. Totally sold on the look, feel, and playability of Bridgestone and can't wait to pick up the J40's for some fall golf and another awesome season next year!

Wow, I was hitting these in the golf shop and compared 5 irons with my Ping s59's and the J40 was not only a solid 10 to 15 yards further, but more consistent and straighter! I am blown away and in the process of purchasing a set. I hope they show the same results on the course!

I have been playing my J40's since April. Ever since I saw the Spy Pics of them I knew I had to have a set and I am glad I got them. If you want a forgiving club that allows you to shape shots, hit them high and low, and give you tremendous feedback then these are the right sticks. Distance is consistent and the sole design allows for crisp contact everytime.

These J40 Cavity Backs are the purest irons I've ever played. I'm so impressed with Bridgestone's attention to detail and superior quality. I converted to the B330 a long time ago (best ball on the market), and now play the irons to match. Perfect combo!!

Got my J40 cavity back irons after doing a lot of back to back testing. I went through PING i20, S56, Titleist AP2, and just about everything you could imagine and these were by far the best out of all of them. They are the most pure irons I have ever hit in my life!!
