I love all your products. I was a Ping player for 40 years, but won't play anything but Bridgestone now. Thanks

Fascinated by the JP40 DCB's. None of the local shops that I frequent have them. Highly rated MFP 682 by Maltby as a Game Improvement iron, very high for a club with relatively low offsets. Very strong loft (46 deg.) in the PW w/o Gap W gives me pause for concern. Any negatives on these clubs? What wedges, lofts and grinds, match up with these irons? I play a 58 deg., combo SW/LW by Ping. Metrybill

The J40 Dual Pocket Irons are THE best set of irons I have played in my 45 years in the game of golf since I was 8 years, BAR NONE, including Miura, Mizuno, TaylorMade, to name a few. And they were all fine sets, but not like J40 DPs. Turf interaction with tight lies simply just glides through the ground. I am more of a picker and most perimeter irons I have used in the past always seemed to be thin on tight lies, but not my J40s. The longer blade and thin top line are perfect. The longer blade allows a gentle draw, where some other sets I have had in the past have tended to hook.

I have been playing the J40 DPC's for the last few months and they are HANDS DOWN, the best irons I have ever played. The heel to toe forgiveness that is offered by moving weight outwards from the cavities has helped me tremendously with my miss, which is usually off the toe. The "grind" for lack of a better term on the leading edge offers the best turf interaction that I have ever come across. Classic look at address that just inspires confidence for me and matched with the stock PX flighted shafts, I am simply in love. Wish more people could try these out - they are that good!! Keep up the great work in the R&D department.

I sold my TM Burners and, while waiting for the J40's to come in, the local store gave me a used set of Callaway Razr blades to use. I was concerned that I could have just bought these and saved myself some money because they were a good improvement over the TM's. The J40's came in and no regrets! Absolutely the best feeling and no loss in distance from the Burners (which are super long). Bridgestone, thanks for adjusting the lie and the quality Project X shafts that come standard where I'm at.

These clubs are fantastic, they fire off the clubface with such a soft feel, improved accuracy, and nearly two clubs longer than my old set. I know a few others who have purchased a set of Bridgestone irons and no one can speak highly enough about the quality and performance of these clubs. I am completely converted to Bridgestone. I would recommend anyone looking for a new set of irons to try Bridgestone first before they go to another manufacturer, because if you do you won't. Excellent product, excellent performance, just simply, excellent.
Ryan,
I put the J40 DPCs in the bag about 3 months ago. Having hopped from set to set for quite some time, I wanted to find a set to stick with and really fine tune my game with. The DPCs offer that clean, classic look, with a sleek design while still providing confidence when standing over the club at address. Without a doubt the best set of irons I have had in my bag in quite some time, and the journey is only beginning! Thanks Bridgestone!

I have had these J40's with Nippon 1050's for a month now and will say these are the best feeling performing irons I have ever hit. This is coming off a set of Mizuon Mp-32's. These clubs are so much better going through the ground than anything else I have hit. Super consistant trajectory and have gained about 12-14 yards. Wish I had bought them as soon as they hit the market, I am know a Bridgestone lifer when it comes to forged irons.

I just got my new J40 DPCs, and they are absolutely awesome! I used to play a set of TaylorMade RAC blades, which I felt were great and I could work well. I am a scratch player, and like to hit lots of different shots, and I can do it all with the J40s. Also, they are giving me about 8 extra yards per club vs. my old set. Lastly, the look at address is a perfect mix of a clean, players club, with a longer heel-toe profile that inspires confidence.

What first caught my eye was the sheer good looks of the J40, but I knew that would not be solely enough for me to replace my current Cleveland irons. However, after hitting them just a few times and feeling the soft yet purely solid feel of the J40's I fell for them and haven't looked back. The thin top line and large sweet spot is a great confidence builder at address and for me just looks right. Well done Bridgestone. You got a winner here!
