Your Letters

Ben, Topeka KS

I recently took the ball fitting challenge at a golf convention in Overland Park, KS, and was told that the new B-330 RX should be the ball I use. I took the free two-ball sleeve and played them during my next round at Cypress Ridge Golf Course in Topeka,KS. I proceeded to hit my first ever hole-in-one on the 150 yard par 3 17th, and then drove the green on the 308 yard uphill par 4 18th. I instantly went out and bought a dozen and am loving them. Thank you. Ben

Mark, Prospect KY

I have been playing golf for 35 years. I have been a 15 handicap player and I have been a 3 handicap player. I started using Bridgestone balls about two years ago. I have played the "Tour" series and the "e" series ball. I am not sure either ball has made me a better golfer, but I can tell you for the first 33 years of my golf career I never had a "Hole in One". This May during an annual Memorial Day weekend trip with my buds I made my first. It was on hole 14, a 180 par 3 at Preachtree Golf Club in Atlanta, GA. using a Bridgestone e5 ball. It happened on the last day, last round, last chance at a par 3 on the trip. What a way to end a great trip. I love the 'e" series balls and will continue that search for number two.

Larry, St. Charles Mo.

Wanted to let you know, after 30+ years of playing golf, I finally got my first hole in one. I used the e6 ball. My club was TaylorMade R7, 8 iron. 145 yard shot. Really like the e6.

D.W., Flower Mound Texas

I played a Bridgestone ball for the first time last week in a stroke play tournament. In the 41 years that they have held the tournament, there had never been a hole in one on the grand prize hole...until June 26th when I proceeded to ace the 191 yard 7th with a 5 iron and a Tour 330 ball. I am a believer!

Tom, Alexandria Bay New York

I live in a resort area at the top of NY State and our golf season is at best 5 months, if mother nature co-operates. I have used Titleist Balls for most of my life but that all came to an end when I found a Bridgestone e6+ last summer and gave it a try. I was very happy with the distance and the feel, as my short game is my savior. I was 6.5 handi-cap at the end of last year and now I'm at 5.5. The e6+, I feel has a lot to do with it. I am 56 years old and I am playing better now than in years past, last week I shot a 1 under, 70, my first under par round in some time. I actually stood on the 14th Tee at 4 under but proceeded to bogey 3 of the last 5 holes. The e6+ goes as far as my old ball and I have converted my brother over to the e5+ and he loves the ball. Thanks Bridgestone Tom

Jacques, Mooresville NC

I have been playing golf for five years. At the moment I am a 18 handicap. I use to play all type of golf balls and a year ago I started playing Gallaway balls. A few weeks ago I met this older gentlemen while playing 9 holes walking at my local course and he was playing the B330-RX. I asked him how he liked the Bridestone balls. He said he realy liked them. He gave me one to hit and let me keep it. I played two rounds with it. On my third round with that same golf ball on Thursday, June 25th 2009 I recorded my first HOLE IN ONE on the 7th hole 135 yard par 3 at Regent Park Golf Club in South Carolina. My guys went crazy. Non of us have ever had a hole in one. I love this game and Bridgestone is my golf ball.

Lyle, Gold Beach Oregon

I was the high handicapper who hit what ever balls. Big mistake. After picking up a nice set of forged irons that fit like a glove at Fiddler's Green in Eugene, Oregon. Larry asked me what ball I hit. What ever I had in my pocket was the answer. He put me on the e6+ so I gave them a go. That was 6 weeks ago. My handicap has gone from 18 to 12.4. Irons or ball or both? Who knows maybe some of both. I know for sure my distance control is much more consistant, accuracy getting better and much better ball drift control. More yardage on irons is nice but the consistancy of the shot distance is what counts no matter how far they go. But by far the best part is the great feel of the ball contacting the club face. The e6+ has made my wedge, chip and putt count go down. Good job r and d department. May you chip close and putt less. thanks Lyle

Robert, Strongsville Ohio

Your ballfitting tent at the golf course was the first time any manufacture did anything for the average golfer. your pros were excellent with explaining the differance from my old ball and yours. I played that round with your ball, and liked it very much. Iplayed titlest for thirty years and have switched. thanks Bob

Rodney, East Hartford CT

I switched to the Bridgestone J-33 Cavity back irons from titeliet DCI 962's last year and my handicap has dropped from a 15.7 to a 10.6, i also switched to 2 Bridgestone Hybrids and a J-33 460 driver (all clubs fitted to my swing and recommended) and then i changed balls after being fitted at a ball fitting in Bloomfield CT, the ballspeed came up 5mph and distance went up almost 10 yards, not to mention it was straighter. I AM A BRIDGESTNONER FOR LIFE!!!!!!! Thank you Rodney Wilson

Mark, Lihue HI

I am a 3 handicap and I switched to the B330-RX ball after playing the e-6+ for some time. The feel is amazing and the distance is fantastic. On 06-28-09,I had my second hole-in-one using the B330-RX ball. It took one hop and rolled 3 feet into the hole! Great ball and very consistent. Keep producing innovative products. Thank you, Mark p. s. I would love a chance to knock it around with Freddy!!!
