The Industrial Engineer will work within Bridgestone Golf resources supporting the SAP By Design implementation and application belonging to the Bridgestone Golf business unit. The SAP By Design application supports multiple functional areas (e.g. Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Shipping and HR). This position, under general supervision, will be responsible for new or enhanced development of the application.  Operational report development using SAP report design, Lobby/Dashboard setup, E-Workflow, custom events, security permissions and profiles. Additional responsibilities will include support for SAP By Design application- Maintaining and supporting IFS- Fixing bugs and patches.- Ability to provide administrative assistance to multiple environments- Custom objects - Data archives- Security permissions- Segregation of duties and Solution Manager.  Must fully support 3rd party application integration- such as EDI, E-Commerce, B2B and B2C applications.  Provide end user support, training, troubleshooting, resolution identification, remediation, and testing, compliance and adherence to security, implementation, incident, change, and configuration processes, and producing / maintaining documentation. This position will have interaction with customers and technologists at all levels including management.


    Analyze current manufacturing, supply chain, maintenance to identify process improvement opportunities. 

    Partners with enterprise operations to reinforce consistent process execution.

    Assess and optimize current manufacturing, supply chain, maintenance and finance process to support business needs

    Implement and support Enterprise Resource planning software on an enterprise level to increase the efficiency and transparency in the various processes.

    Engage senior subject matter expertise or stakeholders and operation leader in the process improvement initiative

    Work with cross functional departments to gather all the data related to current manufacturing, supply chain, maintenance and finance processes.

    Apply six sigma methodologies to improve the processes and make it more standardize

    Facilitate and execute training and communication plan with SME to train employees on new processes.

    Identify and capture improvements and lessons to continuously improve ways of working

    Manage enterprise process improvement projects from conception through startup to ensure on time, under budget with mitigated risk.

    Perform time study to collect the data related to supply chain, manufacturing current process and report the improvement to senior management at the end of the project.

    The ERP Industrial Systems Engineer will be responsible for implementing, managing, coordinating and ensuring successful and timely completion of projects for multiple departments.

    Perform project management duties such as planning, prioritizing, coordinating and controlling all phases of the project lifecycle.

    Conduct training needs analysis, interviewing and surveying to aid in planning training programs, meet business needs and assist in developing, implementing and providing training materials 

    Manages all operational and tactical aspects of assigned projects (may include installation of application modules) and ensures timely delivery of all project objectives.

    Ensure user acceptance testing must meet all department and cross-department requirements.

    Produce documentation in accordance with standards.

    Provide project risk analysis and mitigation planning.

    Ensure proper business analytics and custom reports are delivered on time.

    Monitor system changes and analyze impact on business requirements.

Person Specification:

    Minimum of 3 Years Software Support - ERP Systems SAP By Design.  Other ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics / NetSuite / Sage may also be considered.

    Experience in technical upgrades, small enhancement projects and new system implementations

    Experience or understanding in programming in any language is advantageous.

    System design experience

    Excellent client facing and internal communication skills

    Expert knowledge/expertise on end-to-end processes/solution matching

    Experience in sales and sales processes

    Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently

    Able to manage own workload without supervision

    Capacity to think creatively with good problem solving skills

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in information systems, computer science or other related field, or equivalent experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.  Master’s degree is preferred but not required.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, other employees, customers, and sales representatives.
