Bridgestone Tour team member and LPGA Hall of Famer Karrie Webb continued her hot play with Bridgestone's new TOUR B330-RX with Hydro Core technology this past weekend, completing another astonishing come-from-behind victory at the JTBC Founders Cup in Phoenix. With her 6-shot comeback win, Webb became the first woman to ever win the event twice.
Webb relied on the Bridgestone TOUR B330-RX golf ball in her dramatic victory, giving the brand's new Hydro Core technology its third worldwide tour win. Hydro Core technology produces 30% more gradation from the inside to outside of the core - creating greater spin-reduction for longer distance and improved accuracy.
Webb took full advantage of Hydro Core's reduced spin and Bridgestone's patented seamless cover technology to blister the Wildfire Course at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort and Spa this weekend, firing a tournament record final round 63. The win at the Founders Cup gave Webb 41 for her illustrious career, moving her into a tie for 10th on the LPGA's all-time career victories list with LPGA founder Babe Zaharias.
