Bridgestone Golf, the #1 ball-fitter in golf, announced today that the most popular ladies' golf ball in the history of the game - The Lady Precept - is getting a fresh makeover for its 16th birthday. The 2015 Bridgestone Lady Precept is newly engineered as the softest women's golf ball on the market to deliver exceptional performance for moderate swing speed golfers, with an infusion of enhanced feel and more distance to make it the best performing ladies ball, tee-to-green, ever made.

Through its industry-leading golf ball-fitting program - now having catalogued swing speed data on more than 15,000 women golfers - Bridgestone has gleaned technical insights to further extend the Lady Precept's track-record as the #1 selling women's golf ball in the game, providing even greater performance benefits to amateur female golfers. For instance, the ball's core has been softened and, as a result, preliminary player testing has shown distance increases of 4-6 yards off the tee. In addition, the softer surlyn cover provides better greenside performance, without sacrificing the distance loss women golfers experience with tour-level urethane cover golf balls.
