Job Category

Position Summary

Under limited direction, this position is responsible identifying and attract top talent to the organization to include active and passive candidate sourcing and partnership development with key external staff partners, supporting employee referral programs and stay interviews. The position helps build a strong employer brand and ensure we provide a positive candidate experience. This position will consult and advise with the business and Director of HR on key talent decisions and strategies.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Other key accountabilities for the role include:

  • Works with HR Director and management to analyze turnover and retention rates to forecast hiring needs.
  • Pre-screen, qualify, and source external (and internal) candidates.
  • Manage pro-active lists of qualified candidates for future openings.
  • Develop an effective network of key talent from competitors and industry leaders.
  • Manage and participate in targeted recruiting initiatives.
  • Assess strategic talent needs across the business and identify solutions to close talent gaps by leveraging talent metrics and analytics.
  • Orchestrate the interview strategy and approach the candidate assessment process in a defined and structured manner.
  • Interview candidates for core competencies, leadership competencies, cultural fit, and future potential.
  • Integrate multiple points of data on candidates (interviews, references, assessments, etc.) to formulate an overall picture and provide a consultative point of view to internal departmental hiring managers.
  • Demonstrated experience and capability to recruit all BSG roles as required.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment processes.
  • Provide mentorship and training opportunities to the management team.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for recruiting, including talent pool insights, competitive intelligence, and proactive recruitment consultation to hiring managers.
  • Build and foster strategic relationships with key external staffing partners as needed.
  • Determine qualification criteria for each position.
  • Participate in job fairs to boost the company’s reputation.
  • Assist in all company-sponsored events.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Assists in the preparation of an annual departmental budget for recruiting needs.
  • Schedules and completes Stay interviews with TM reporting results as directed by HR Director.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Good understanding of sourcing, interviewing, evaluating candidates, and selection techniques, inclusive of social media technology.
  • Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and openly with cross-functional departments.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Action-oriented and results driven with an ability to get projects done with limited resources.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter, able to drive projects to a conclusion and work effectively with a variety of people at various levels within the company.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Understanding of state and federal employment regulations.
  • Understanding of personnel and compliance records management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education and/or Experience  

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.                                            

Language Skills                                                

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to effectively present information to employees, top management and/or public groups.

Mathematical Skills                                                     

Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.  Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

Reasoning Ability                                             

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
