Bridgestone Tour Team member Bronson La'Cassie turned his lifelong PGA TOUR dream into reality this weekend, winning the 2013 Cox Classic in dramatic fashion to secure his 2013-14 PGA TOUR card. La'Cassie earns his first ever PGA TOUR playing privileges by virtue of his Top 25 finish on the 2013 Web.com Tour Money List.
La'Cassie birdied the 71st and 72nd holes to secure his spot in a sudden death playoff, firing a tournament total 21-under par. La'Cassie completed the victory by tapping in his TOUR B330-S for par on the third playoff hole and earned $144,000, vaulting himself from 33rd into 6th place on the final 2013 Web.com Regular Season Money List.
"Bridgestone would like to offer a well-deserved congratulations to Bronson on a clutch-performance in Omaha," said Dan Murphy, EVP of Sales and Marketing - Bridgestone Golf, Inc. "Bronson has a ton of game and our marquee PGA TOUR duo of Kuch and Sneds have proven that success on the Web.com Tour better prepares players for the challenges of PGA TOUR competition. We have no doubts that Bronson will experience similar results and we can't wait to follow his journey starting with the kick-off of the Fall Season in a few weeks."
