VeloSurge™ core-mantle integration technology is designed to unlock more ball speed and distance without giving up control. At the center of VeloSurge is a newly engineered mantle layer that features a denser and more rigid material than previous designs. The density of the mantle has been increased to better match the densities of both the core and the cover. By better aligning these materials, energy is transferred efficiently through the golf ball at impact, helping the ball repel faster with less wasted energy.  In addition, the denser mantle shifts more mass toward the outer regions of the golf ball. This raises the ball’s Moment of Inertia (MOI), improving spin-axis stability during flight. The result is a faster, more stable golf ball that delivers tighter dispersion and more consistent performance under real playing conditions.

                                     Reactiv

The REACTIV iQ Cover is a smart urethane cover that responds to the force of impact. Impact modifiers are added to the urethane mixture to enhance performance.  On high-speed impacts like driver strikes, the cover works seamlessly with the core and mantle to maintain maximum ball speed.  On lower-speed impacts, such as wedge shots, the material promotes increased dwell time on the face and a softer sound for precise greenside control.

Engineered to respond to the force of impact for optimized performance

Impact-modified material
Enhanced urethane formulation improves responsiveness across all shots

Maximum ball speed on drives
Works with the core and mantle to maintain speed on high-impact shots

Increased dwell time on wedges
Promotes longer face contact for added control and precision

                              Dual Dimple

Bridgestone’s Dual Dimple Design is engineered to optimize aerodynamic performance throughout the ball’s flight. Each dimple features a larger outer dimple paired with a smaller inner dimple to better manage airflow.  Due to the dynamics of airflow, during the high-speed portion of the flight early in the trajectory, air penetrates the smaller inner dimples. This helps prevent excessive lift and promotes a more stable, penetrating ball flight, especially into the wind. After the apex, as the ball slows, airflow no longer reaches the inner dimples and the structure functions as one larger dimple. This increases lift, producing a shallower landing angle for more roll and greater total distance.  This advanced design improves carry consistency, reduces drag, and enhances stability in windy conditions for a penetrating, reliable ball flight.

Advanced dual-layer dimple design
Features a larger outer dimple with a smaller inner dimple to manage airflow

Reduced lift on initial flight
Inner dimples engage early to promote a more penetrating trajectory

Enhanced stability into the wind
Helps maintain control and consistency in challenging conditions

Increased lift after apex
As speed decreases, dimples function as one to support longer carry

Longer total distance
Promotes added roll through a shallower landing angle

                                    Contact Force

Bridgestone’s Contact Force Dimple design takes the traditional golf ball dimple pattern a step further by increasing how much of the ball touches the clubface at impact.  The Contact Force dimples incorporate a slightly raised central zone within each dimple that increases surface interaction with the club.  This expanded contact area reduces excessive spin on full shots to provide an efficient impact for further and straighter ball flight.  It also works to moderate side spin, reducing hooks and slices and enhancing accuracy. By optimizing how the ball meets the club at impact, Contact Force dimples help deliver distance and stability from tee to green.

Enhanced contact at impact
Designed to increase the surface area of the ball interacting with the clubface

Unique dimple structure
Features a raised center within each dimple for improved interaction

Reduced side spin
Helps limit hooks and slices for greater accuracy

Consistent performance tee to green
Delivers a balance of distance, control, and stability

                                      Seamless Cover Technology

Bridgestone’s Seamless Cover Technology eliminates the traditional seam found on many golf balls. Without a seam interrupting the surface, the dimples can be evenly distributed across the ball. This contributes to more stable aerodynamics during flight, especially in windy conditions.  By removing surface irregularities associated with seams, the ball can fly through a tighter, more consistent launch window and maintain a predictable apex.  The result is a penetrating, controlled ball flight that golfers can trust when conditions are challenging, reinforcing Bridgestone’s commitment to consistency and precision on every shot.

                                           Gradational

Bridgestone’s Gradational Core Technology features a core that is softer in the center and gradually becomes firmer toward the outer edge. This proprietary construction allows the core to respond differently depending on swing speed and impact force. The firmer outer region helps generate faster ball speeds, while the softer inner region is designed to reduce spin and make the ball more forgiving off the tee. The gradual compression slope allows one core to deliver multiple performance benefits in a single construction. By controlling how energy is stored and released through the core, Gradational Core Technology delivers optimized distance, improved accuracy, and consistent performance for a wide range of golfers.

                                         Paint Free Urethane Cover

Bridgestone Golf balls are engineered with no paint on the cover. Instead of applying a cosmetic paint layer after manufacturing, the white color of the ball is added directly into the urethane material.  By eliminating the paint step, Bridgestone removes an additional variable that exists purely for cosmetic purposes but can still influence performance.  Integrating color directly into the urethane helps ensure each golf ball leaves the factory with a more consistent surface profile.  The result is greater ball-to-ball consistency and more predictable flight characteristics, reinforcing Bridgestone’s commitment to performance-driven manufacturing.

                                      Mindset

MindSet is a breakthrough mental approach designed to help golfers separate analytical thinking from athletic performance. Developed by Bridgestone in collaboration with Jason Day and his mental performance coach Jason Goldsmith, the system focuses on creating a consistent, repeatable pre-shot routine that allows players to commit fully to every shot. MindSet is built around three simple steps: Identify, Visualize, Focus. In the first step, golfers identify their target and gather key information such as break, grain, wind, lie, and other course conditions. In step two, the player decides what shot to hit based on that information and visualizes it clearly.  For example, a player pictures a soft baby draw starting just off a large pine to the right of the fairway and curving back toward the target. The third step is where performance takes over. By focusing on the green dot on the golf ball, golfers clear their minds of unnecessary thoughts and trust their natural athletic ability to execute the shot. This structured approach helps players commit to the process rather than overthinking mechanics. To reinforce the system, Jason Day evaluates each round with a mental scorecard, measuring how well he stayed committed to the MindSet process instead of focusing solely on the final score.
