Bridgestone Golf tour team member Brandt Snedeker used impressive iron play and a deft short game to break his own tournament scoring record this weekend at the 2015 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, earning his 7th career PGA TOUR title. For the tournament, Snedeker amassed a remarkable 22-under par total, besting the 19-under par mark he set in 2013.
After an injury plagued 2014 campaign that caused him to drop from the Top 50 in the world, Sneds used a final round 67 to command a three-shot victory and vault himself into 31st place in the Official World Golf Rankings. Snedeker tamed the trio of famed courses (Monterey Peninsula Country Club, Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill) in a tournament record 22-under par, recording rounds of 64-67-67-67. With the victory, Snedeker also earned an invitation to the Masters and a spot in the World Golf Championship series events.
In his victory, Snedeker relied on Bridgestone's TOUR B330 golf ball, J40 Cavity Back Irons and the new, more versatile, J15 Black Oxide Wedges.
"Brandt put on an incredible show this weekend, hitting fantastic shots and only making a single bogey over 72 holes in a tournament contested on three of the most demanding courses in the world," said Dan Murphy, Executive Vice President of Sales/Marketing, Bridgestone Golf, Inc. "We are excited to see Brandt earn his invitation back to Augusta and the WGC events and we are confident that this is only the beginning."
